So I had a 20 hour road trip with my family to Marco Island. Yikes! That's a long drive so I figured... why not use my time wisely and do some science! I decided to use a little scientific method, info gathering, and data collection to create a science adventure! My hypothesis: 'If i am in the car with my family for 20 hours, then I will totally go crazy!" Check out my story and data below to see what really happened on this awesome roadie!

Don't forget to check out these other summer science adventures!

Hellooooo Marco Island!
Isn't it Lovely??

Science Adventures - Ms. Genta's Science Website

To the right is a graph I created when I recorded my data. This represents my feelings at every hour during the car ride. As you can see, my attitude changed a lot during the 20 hours of the trip!

Conclusion: I reject my hypothesis. I do not go crazy during the road-trip, in fact my average feeling was a
3.8 on a 5 scale... not bad considering it was such a long adventure! Of course, for my results to be believable I would need to repeat the test so maybe next year.... :)

This is just an example of how you can use some crazy, fun science in your everyday life. Who knew you could take something as simple as a road-trip and use some much scientific inquiry! You can do it too! If you have any summer science adventures let me know and your story could be featured on the website!
